Current News Event. My reflection below.

16 “If a man seduces a virgin who is not engaged to anyone and has sex with her, he must pay the customary bride price and marry her.

17 But if her father refuses to let him marry her, the man must still pay him an amount equal to the bride price of a virgin.

[Not that a situ with minors is ever advisable. But if a man is ever in that situation "that he is not supposed to be in" then a dowry and marriage as an offer, is advised in the Torah, to the father (any must be concerned that he'd probably be thinking of other Laws on it, as well) or if the father says, "No.", then dowry and perhaps arrangement to marry when she becomes of age should be offered.
I completely believe this situation is similar, less the consummation before marriage issue above, to that of the Holy Nabi Muhammad (epbuh) and Aisha (epbuh) daughter of Abu Bakr (ra). It likely was an arranged marriage that was for the future, or an age-appropriate day in the future. Abu Bakr (ra), in simplest terms, it appears dedicated his daughter for marriage in the future to the Holy Prophet (saws). That is how I interpret this event. ~ M.U.A.]

A film on Pompeii and Herculaneum is not complete with any of these points missing:

1. 79 AD

2. Ayat, 

"Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners -" ~ Shu'ara 208

"Nor was thy Lord the one to destroy a population until He had sent to its centre a messenger, rehearsing to them Our Signs; nor are We going to destroy a population except when its members practice iniquity." ~ Qasas 59

"Nor would thy Lord be the One to destroy communities for a single wrongdoing, if its members were likely to mend." ~ Gudi 117

That even though the Quran was Revealed after 79 AD those 3 Ayat are integral to a modern reflection of Pompeii on film. Hollywood did make it a love-story theme, however, missed some integral greater social healing measures. I want to stop and reference the movie Masada to highlight that people were called by and named after Pompeii like a naturalization, when in the takeover a Senator Official of the 10th Roman Legion was Pomponius Falco overseeing the siege. 

3. What was the living Word of Allah (swt) at the time of 79 AD? It would be the Injeel (Gospel) all the way down through to the Torah (Laws of Moses). And that was the actual message that reached the center of the Populous' of Pompeii and Herculaneum. How many if any of the Disciples were alive? When had the last Disciple passed away? Who was the likely Disciple that went to Pompeii and Herculaneum?

4. The Mount Vesuvius' eruption was not just an act of nature but an act of God, and directly tied to God due to the charges that God had against the manifest and festering social activities of:

A. Corruption
B. Idolatry
C. Hedonism
D. Rejection of the Words of God.

If these integral elements to the reflection on film are not integrated in the script (to the appropriateness of making the points, though not necessary to go explicitly graphic)) then a "Service to God to avoid the pitfalls of Ancient Pompeii and Herculaneum." has not been given to the benefit of greater community and society at large and was simply done to make money. A Service like this should have an integral break-even point objective with profits as a bonus.

It is not that every Hollywood film has to be about Holy Scriptures, but on something like Pompeii I think it is a moment. Film and television assists in programming minds positively but also negatively. In the case of the negatives, they are not hard to list but the real problem is the residual effects. 

They can cause Faith-Outreach-Burnout due to having to assist about things and interests that weren't there before. So, for Faith leaders which I don't claim to be one but, Hollywood coming correct for them at least once a year can be a relief to those services and not like being handed orange uniforms to clean highway greenspaces to get early parole. Only good for all the system-made cleanups can burnout some people.

Egypt under the rule of Pharaoh appears to have been not only a physical bondage but a spiritual bind, as well. Egypt under the Prophets Joseph, Moses, Aaron via Muhammad (epbut) is not the same as Egypt under the rule of Pharaoh. Egypt under the rule of Nabi Muhammad (saws) is not the same as Egypt under the rule of Firaun. My 3 give aways on this were:

1. Unrelated but we are introduced to the concept of a physical and spiritual captivity in the Babylonian experience. Babylon was into magic and secret arts.

2. Egypt under the rule of Pharaoh practiced magic and secret arts. Mentioned a number of times in Quran. But also when we read the Torah, we can see that God was Providing Laws that would correct there being nonexistent laws in Egypt. Many of which were surrounding medium, psychic, spellbinding, spellcasting, magic, sorcery, witchcraft, fortune telling (tarot cards, etc.), and etc. Why keep mentioning magic? Well, it is because that is the tool (hyper unseen activity in secret arts) that ensnares souls and functions as a spiritual bondage. Case and point Ezekiel 13. I'll add this text card also. 

3. When we get to Daniel 10 we can see that the Spirit Prince of Persia and later Spirit Prince of Babylon are mentioned in those passages as obstructing the passing of an Angelic being that came from Presence of Allah to deliver a message to Prophet Daniel (epbuh). A deduction seems to be that "Prince" is shorthand for "Principality". Much of that happening around the Mediterranean pre-Torah, Psalms, Proverbs, Quran, etc. except when we get to Book of Daniel. This gave me fussilat to see that bondage in Egypt was more than just physical but spiritual, as well.

The point here is that when Nabi Muhammad (epbuh) teaches us about a moment Nabi Musa wa Harun (epbut) had with Firaun in the "Forge ye not a lie against Allah"...Ayat brlow, then what Firaun was going to do was not only a verbal problem but potentially Firaun may have been trying to set up a spiritual harnessing of the energies coming from their service.

It is more than just the nature of obstinance, arrogance, oppression, etc., but also how the spirituality through the secret arts was a conflict, obstruction, oppression, and binding to their Spirit, as well.

We get a heads up with the following Ayah that a Crier will announce the People of Firaun be cast into Hellfire. Announced in the past but concerning those in the future. The only reason that I can see is that their spiritual energies are brought back to be in conflict with the Orders in the Spirit set by Allah (swt). Though announced in the past through the Holy Nabi (saws) it was a Living Ruling from Allah then and into the Future.

Also, in my reference of the Book of Ezekiel 13 aka Dhul Kifli (epbuh), those magic veils are not a reference to Niqab. Niqab are not through magic but Miracle. But these were a specific type of veils that were through magic. It is kind of like 2 systems of exercising. 1 based purely on science and medicine and the 2nd based on very intelligent and careful thought but has a deity statue in the rear of the exercise room. That doesn't mean all exercising is wrong. Also to be considered is that Zalama mathala Suhr.

Secret Arts Combined With Holy Scriptures Is a No No With Allah.

Due to some things becoming normalized in film, tv, etc. there is an obvious combining of 2 things that Allah (swt) does not want combined. Secret Arts (magic, sorcery, witchcraft) and Holy Scriptures (Holy Quran and remaining Truths in the Holy Bible).
You are very fortunate if you have not had to experience this conflict of nature. But know that if it were not a problem then Allah (swt) would never have rendered a Fatwa against it. So, this is info very beneficial in a climate of this cooked up occult, pagan, secret arts activities that may try to move back and forth amongst Faith practitioners. It really stinks to do that. The Nabi Daoud (epbuh) once said in Zaburi 68 or Psalm 68, "May the wicked perish in the Presence of God.". First thing is, why would the wicked want to go into the Presence of Allah (swt)? Isn't that worse than starting a crime ring next door to the Police Department? But here the Holy Nabi Muhammad (epbuh) through the Holy Revelation of Quranul Kareem teaches us by Allah's Orders that Allah (swt) considers it a Khassieen (despicable) practice, and even mentions Qiradatan (apes, etc.) and Khanazeera (the wild (not domesticated) swine, boars, hogs), and that it is worthy of His (swt) Lainat.
Thus, cannot combine the Secret Arts with the Holy Scriptures. If anyone would laugh at this from Him (swt) as preposterous and nonsense, then why set selves up for it on when that Qadr or Decree gets fulfilled? It could be in the blink or twinkling of any eye. Why put yourself there? Maybe the feeling is that the Creator cannot change or transform creations that He (swt) created. This is the God of the Bible and the Quran. He mentions the Bible in this verse of Quran, so in many of our eyes it is not a matter of if God does it, or can do it, but a matter of when. So not trying to be standing in line to get Served on it.
Regardless of what they are thinking I'm not setting myself up for that Amr (Commad) from Him (swt), nor waiting in line on that one, for a few insignificant gains.
So, here Allah (swt) renders a Ruling against it.

Should Keep the Community Balanced Through Conveyance.

Nabi Muhammad (epbuh) was a perfectly balanced man.
Too much focus on penalties would make Faith a penal system and would cloud the salvation system of Faith. Also, would lead to a complex in a person of being an "Angel that Guards the Hellfire(s)". Answering the Angels that Guard the Hellfire(s), while on Earth as in a penal system would take away from the work needed to be done to build case with Allah to avoid the Hellfire(s). Earth being Earth is in reality a very important chance for Jannah. It works against the function of "Project Earth" assigned to us by Allah (swt) if Jehanum is imposing rules by the Malaika that are Guards of Hellfire. Then there is no time to get right and build case for return to Jannah. Nabi Muhammad (saws) "balanced" being a Warner with being a Bearer of Good News and Glad Tidings. It is important that we do not be cultivators of desperation as mentioned by the late Hafizul Quran Abdullah Yusuf Ali (may upon him be Allah's peace and blessings). Hafizul Quran Abdullah Yusuf Ali (pbuh) took the duty and burden of Conveyance from Allah (swt) and served in such a way that he left little doubts in the reader's mind of being untrustworthy or untruthful or not sidiqeen. He applied sidiq in perhaps the best place that sidiq could be applied.
Too much focus on the grave would make Faith of no focus in preparations for the Scales of the members of the congregation. Also, would lead to a complex in a person of being an "Angel that Guards the Grave." The entire purpose of mentioning and warning about the Grave is for preparing the Scale of and by each member of the Jumaat. In mentioning the warnings about the Grave to the absence of mentioning the Scales, then the point can become amiss for listeners. Nabi Muhammad (saws) balanced encouragements on visiting the Grave and attending funerals with encouraging getting married and attending weddings in the Hadiths.
Asceticism is too much of an imbalance for a stable Islamic Faith Community in the US and Canada. We do not have the oil revenues to support an Asceticism Faith Policy in the US and Canada. Allah (swt) mentioned Productivity and Righteousness Prophets (epbut) because Salihan and Darasan are a part of Ibadah. The Scales are too out of sight and out of mind. When that is taking place, I have noticed that there is a type of Taqwa, Yaqeen and Ihsan that is missing. While other types are there, other types of those things are missing. A person does not need to sprint or not give thought as to if or when they'd like to do a thing, but complete abandon of normal communal dynamics is an assumption of Favorable Judgment on the Day of Account. I have never been able to make that assumption.
We are also not the Angels that Guard the Heavens. Concerning all 4 sets of the Angelic Beings mentioned in this post, I have to confess that I am at the complete Mercy of Allah (swt) about how any of those encounters with them would play out for me. But "Scales" are too out of sight and out of mind, however, check things out first (making sure it is not a setup) and don't sprint through becoming impulsive but give thought as to whether something works for you, as in a feasibility analysis. But go at the pace that Allah has Given you, and that is in the comfort Provided by Him (swt) in seeking the Nafiyu of Allah (swt). Also, every home or house purchase in all fairness cannot be consider Palatial, Vain, Life of the Dunya.
