If a person or entity is engaging you for trade exchanges in the fellowship of the spirit.

Bismi Allahi Al Rahmani Al Raheemi.
Aoudhubillahi minal shaitanir rajeem.
ASA WR WB to believing Muslim friends.

The moment that you feel that some other person or entity is engaging you for trade exchanges in the fellowship of the spirit. Like a type of bartering, then on the first step of that activity and engagement with them, you should know it is haram.

Because Allah (swt) told us to give and trade from what? But not only that it should be what was lawfully earned from the fruits of the Earth, but in addition it is the easier, natural, and more common sense form of trade and exchange. If it is in the unseen do we as humans have anything in writing about the transaction? No, and that is one of the first of many difficulties about any hyper interests in going by an idea of only unseen engagement with others. I don't know how to do that, but that is beside the point of Allah (swt) told us to give from substances lawfully earned from Earth that He and His Angels Provide us with.

This common sense should never be lost. If it is lost, then it must be found again. The relevance of the dunya is at the essence of the principle of, "Doing good in trade and charity in order to stack good deeds upon the individual's Scale of Judgment in order to have a chance of returning to the Kingdom." If we continue to dismiss the relevance (particularly between Muslims) of seen, physical, flesh trade and charity (very importantly by mutual consent) of lawful substances from the Earth, then we have kind of dismissed the relevance of the "Race" back to the Kingdom (that is at a moderate pace or walk and not a run nor a sprint over the course of a lifetime on Earth). Or it is the thinking that, "No more to do here on Earth, and I am already knowing I am going to Heaven, so I'm folding up my hands, I don't have to do anything else." We can't assume that. Al Masihu Isa ibn Maryam (epbut) taught that we won't know if we are good until the Day of Judgement.

Easier and, from the evidence, more bountiful to engage trade and charity in the seen from substance from the Earth than to do the more difficult engagement of trade and charity in the unseen from your spirit and soul. The former has been made lawful while the latter unlawful.
