An Exchange Of Information On Social Media Between A Muslim (Myself), And A Christian

Aoudhubillahi min al shaitanir rajeem.
Bismi Allahi Al Rahmani Al Raheemi
Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajeun
Ash Shahadu an La Ilaha illa Allah Wa ash shahadu an Muhammedan Abdul Allah Wa Rasul Allah
As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh
My dear respected brothers and sisters in Al Islam
Hasbuna Lahu Wa Nimal Waki

This is a complete exchange of information that I did with a person recently on social media. I will call him Person Y. Person Y went back and forth with me over a couple of days about this initial post. Also I think that I may have also been referencing the Proverb of Solomon (based on my mentioning a beautiful 2 verses and disloyalty) Proverbs 19:22 NLT ۩
"Loyalty makes a person attractive. And it is better to be poor than dishonest." Here it is:

Me - Initial Post:
A beautiful 2 verses. When we look at the current revelations of infidelities and the #MeToo movement thoughts don't always shift to the disloyalty that has been shown to the vows made to Allah.
"13 "If the entire Israelite community does something forbidden by the LORD and the matter escapes the community's notice, all the people will be guilty. 14 When they discover their sin the leaders (some translations say people) must bring a young bull as an offering for their sin and present it at the entrance of the Tabernacle" ~ Leviticus 4:13-14
This is powerful because it is saying that Allah is Aware that sometimes people will sin and not realize that they did (by "When they discover their sin"). But, He is saying that, with Him, ignorance is not bliss, and the consequences for the sin will be upon them (He won't send a memo), even if they don't realize they have sinned. When they discover their sin then the leaders (some translations say people) must present the appropriate offerings to atone for the sin, and get the penalty and guilt removed. So self-righteous indignation doesn't work with God because He will send the penalty whether you or I realize our sins or not. So, since the Tabernacle is currently not performing Sacrifices (the only 2 places where the Holy Scriptures indicated that Sacrificial Offerings can be performed are Mecca and Jerusalem), how then to atone for the sin to get the penalties and guilt associated with the sin lifted?

Person Y:
"God loveth not . . ." is something that this Christian say is the difference between Islam and Christianity. Christians believe that God loves us all. and wants us to reach out and accept this love. it is called Grace or unconditional love. That is why Christians are assured of salvation and doesnt need to live in fear until judgement day.

Me:
Prophet Solomon (eternal peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom." In Arabic the word Taqwa means both to Fear and Adore God.

Person Y:
Christians believe that loving God is the essence of a life of guaranteed salvation. Coupled with "loving your neighbor as yourself" it is a complete prescription for a moral life. Solomo was an old testament character who also put Jewish law before Love,. Muslims follow th Jewish belief that one earns salvation by obeying law. Following the "law" in the Koran results in hatred and killing those who do not understand the "law" in the same way that they That is one reason that sects of the Religion of Peace (like Shia and Sunni) are at war today and have been so for 1400 Years.

Person Y:
the word "Taqwa " as you define it is the Muslim tradition. You express your love because your fear the consequences. Christians don't obey God out of fear but because of love. It is like the relationship of Father and son.

Person Y:
Loving God requires Christians to continue to learn about God and his creation. For example, thr Rev Martin Luther King convinced most Americans that Blacks were not slaves or inferior people, but were "children of God" just as is everyone. Thus we are not ruled by "laws and rules" that are thousands of years old . That allows us to reconsider "sinful" people in light of 21st century understandings of Gof

Person Y:
God's nature. For example, I believe that Homosexuality is a natural part of God's creation and Gays; deserve to be loved. Not all Christians agree but the trend is to love them rather than kill therm as punishment for their sin.

Person Y:
"how then to atone for the sin to get the penalties and guilt associated with the sin lifted?" That is easy for a Christian, but impossible for a Muslim to understand. Christians believe that Jesus was the sacrifice for the sins of all Christians. "Believe in me" Jesus said, but actually means to learn about Jesus and live a life as he did as a model.

Me:
But, aren't Sacrificial Offerings a part of strict Ordinances of the Law in the Torah? There is a Who, What, When, Where, Why, How that is very spelled out between Leviticus 1 through 7; Leviticus 16; Leviticus 17; Leviticus 22; Leviticus 24. Pretty much Leviticus 1 through 24, right? Gives us Who, What, When, Where, Why, How a Sacrifice is to be Offered to God, right? Then when the Book of Malachi is reached there is a stoppage of the Sacrificial Offerings. The Messiah said, "I come not to change the Law or the Writings of the Prophets, but to fulfill them. Not until Heaven and Earth disappear shall one jot or tittle be changed until their purpose is achieved." If one presented the Messiah as a Sacrifice it would have to be by Leviticus 17, whole, sound without blemish (no bites taken out; nor partially eatten by Leviticus 22), alive to the entrance of the Tabernacle in Jerusalem to the Levite Priests. Then would that be a human sacrifice or an animal sacrifice? And the ones Sacrificing him (the Messiah) does that make them Shepherds of the Messiah? Regarding sins prior to knowledge of the Messiah and sins during knowledge of the Messiah I repost the Good Teacher Passage.

Person Y:
In your ignorance of Christianity, you post passages in the old Testament to explain Christianity.

Me:

Person Y:
You must read more to get the meaning of such passages. Jesus is referring to those who worship false Gods and do not "Believe in Me" 24-26 explains this to the satisfaction of Christians. "He was not like teachers of the law. Instead he taught with authority" Separates Christians from Teachers of Old Testament Law and obviously from Muslims who preach the the Law of Muhammad. The law of Jesus Christ is to Love God and Love your neighbor as yourself. That is far more complete and thorough that "law" of 1400 or 3000 years ago.

Me:
Is it false to make assertions about what the Messiah mean't here that he did not say himself?

Me:
The Messiah here prayed to "Eli" that means that Christians should be calling upon "Eli" also.

Me:
Here the Messiah communicates 3 subjects. 1. God; 2. the Shepherd; 3. the Sheep. He refers to himself as the Shepherd and not God, right?

Me:
I am going to end with Matthew 6:9 when the Messiah (eternal peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Pray along these lines, "Our Father who art in Heaven..." 2 things... 1. we in Islam cannot refer to God as Father (Our Lord Who art in Heaven is a good recommendation) and we make this suggestion to mankind. 2. the Messiah (as) is saying pray to God and not pray to him (Messiah). Note the similarity in the two sets of passages. They are both known as the "7 Oft Repeated Verses"....the Quran speaks of the 7 Oft Repeated Verses as if they were already in existence when Quran was revealing the passage about them. That sent me to the prayer of the Messiah (aka the Lord's Prayer) to compare them.

Me:
One last point. Allah has given mankind permission to seek the Holy Spirit, and to be strengthened by the Holy Spirit. As the Holy Spirit circulates our circulatory system (Ref Leviticus 17) the life flows through the blood. It enhances, and improves life, testimony, healing, and many things. However, to source the Holy Spirit from other than God/Eli/Allah is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven. This sin has a part to do with difficulties in relations between many people of the Earth...in my opinion. You can consider an example of a neighbor with food in their fridge and someone justifying constantly sourcing the neighbor for food because food comes from God. This is true, however, once it is with that neighbor it is for the utility of that neighbor. Plus you have to factor in all of the work, challenges, study, fasting, sacrificing, prayer, prayer beads, etc. that the neighbor went through to stock that fridge. For the neighbor to not have the Spirit to do righteousness in the land to seek the bounties of God and to earn return back to the Heavens is grossly unfair. I bear witness to this truth from the Gospel, that Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. Must source Eli.

Some notes on the Bible

Holy Quran [8:58]
"If thou fearest treachery from any group, throw back (their covenant) to them, (so as to be) on equal terms: for God loveth not the treacherous."
- This is difficult to do if one has not examined the Kitab. One should not examine the Kitab until they have spent at least 4 years studying the Quran intensively. And if you obtain a Kitab make sure you obtain one that does not have the symbol of the Trinity on it for Allah has said, "Trinity desist." They do sell them without it on them. One must also maintain that about 15 to 20% of the Kitab is false/erroneous and about 80 to 85% is valid historical and prophetic evidence. These points are concerning those that claim that a man and Prophet of Allah should be a sacrifice for others sins (namely his flesh being the bread and his blood being the wine for the purpose of redemption from sins). Within the Kitab itself is a refutation to this concept.

Sacrifices outside of the Sacred Precincts are forbidden by strict law. Live, healthy animals must be presented to the entrance of the Tabernacle (in Israel) and given to the High Priest. The animal cannot have a bite taken out of it; nor be partially eatten. Individuals must not attempt to assume that they are Levite Priests and begin portioning the meats and grilling them upon an altar out in the fields(incidentally a grill is not a Sacrificial Altar. So I am not referring to a friendly act of barbequeing)...an altar erected by themselves. Individuals must stop thinking that slaughtering an animal for consumption is like slaughtering an animal for a sacrificial offering to Allah or themselves, as if they are "gods". Leviticus 22 - strict law forbids that the sacrificial meals be consumed by anyones other than the Levite Priests and the familial members of the Levite Priests households. Can any of us (non Levite Priests; nor even a Nazirite) sacrifice a life and then partake of the sacrificial offering meal ourselves, as a Sacrificial Offering Religious Rite, in the Name of Yahweh?
And, of course, the Book of Malachi will shut the Temple doors to blind, defective, lame, diseased animals as offerings to Allah and some of the Prophecies of Malachi are useful instruction here, as well, on building relations with the Supreme God.
The consumption of the blood has got to be one of the more subtler extreme offenses of the communal spirit of Faith in the One God, Allah. Its penalty is banishment from amongst the community of Faithful, Believers of Israel...exile from the land, as well as, Allah setting His Face against those that consume blood in any form. Allah setting His Face against anyone is the opposite of salvation, the opposite of happiness and bliss, the oposite of life, and the opposite if Eternal blessings from Himself...it is in fact death, destruction, wrath and torment. It is void of the blessings and mercies of God for Him to set His Face against someone.
Perhaps it is a likeness to the Tree of Life, in that, the life spirit flows through the blood and what is being attempted is to find life increase by the consumption of the blood, thus, the consumption of the life spirit of the creature or human. And I speculate that this is the likeness of the type of life fruit consumption that has been made forbidden to us even from the Garden of Eden (which according to Quranul Kareem will no longer be a trial for those who make it safely back to Paradise).

Leviticus 17
Eating Blood Forbidden
[With Al-Islam blood has been forbidden and wine has been forbidden for us.]
1 The LORD said to Moses, 2 "Speak to Aaron and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: 'This is what the LORD has commanded: 3 Any Israelite who sacrifices an ox, a lamb or a goat in the camp or outside of it 4 instead of bringing it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to present it as an offering to the LORD in front of the tabernacle of the LORD--that man shall be considered guilty of bloodshed; he has shed blood and must be cut off from his people. 5 This is so the Israelites will bring to the LORD the sacrifices they are now making in the open fields. They must bring them to the priest, that is, to the LORD, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and sacrifice them as fellowship offerings. 6 The priest is to sprinkle the blood against the altar of the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and burn the fat as an aroma pleasing to the LORD. 7 They must no longer offer any of their sacrifices to the goat idols to whom they prostitute themselves. This is to be a lasting ordinance for them and for the generations to come.' 8 "Say to them: 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice 9 and does not bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD--that man must be cut off from his people. 10 " 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who eats any blood--I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from his people. 11 For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life. 12 Therefore I say to the Israelites, "None of you may eat blood, nor may an alien living among you eat blood." 13 " 'Any Israelite or any alien living among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth, 14 because the life of every creature is its blood. That is why I have said to the Israelites, "You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off." 15 " 'Anyone, whether native-born or alien, who eats anything found dead or torn by wild animals must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be ceremonially unclean till evening; then he will be clean. 16 But if he does not wash his clothes and bathe himself, he will be held responsible.' " [Thus, it seems that if Allah was in to human sacrifices they would have to bring the human unblemished, nor lame, nor blind, nor defective, and without a bite taken out of him, nor diseased, nor already dead, etc. to the entrance of the Tabernacle in Israel...not any other country, and present him to the Levite Priests who would then portion the meat and roast it on the altar.] But, we do understand that our solution in Al-Islam for the Sacrificial Offering is the Hajj Sacrifice that has been prescribed for us. Right?

Thieves in their many manifestations, as well as, those that lie (or swear falsely) by the Name of Allah (God, Yahweh, Adonai, Eli, Ilah, Elohim, Eloah, El, and all of His Sacred Names) will be banished from the land (which means from amongst the "People of Faith in Allah) and their homes will be completely destroyed by the curse of this Scroll that will be sent into the house of everyone that does these 2 things. Nothing will remain not even it's timbers nor stones. Further, sin will be collected into a basket, which will include the woman named "Wickedness" herself, and carried away from the land. Now combine this with the banishment of Leviticus 17.

Zecahriah 5
Flying Scroll
1 I looked up again and saw a scroll flying through the air. 2 "What do you see?" the angel asked."I see a flying scroll," I replied. "It appears to be about thirty feet long and fifteen feet wide. " 3 Then he said to me, "This scroll contains the curse that is going out over the entire land. One side says that those who steal will be banished from the land; the other side says that those who swear falsely will be banished from the land. 4 And this is what the LORD Almighty says: I am sending this curse into the house of every thief and into the house of everyone who swears falsely by my name. And my curse will remain in that house until it is completely destroyed -- even its timbers and stones."

Their is an ethical system to committing oneself to the spirit and community of charity, which was the communal life of the early followers of the Moshiach (Messiah, Al Masihu). In addition there is the very important instruction not to lie to the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of the community of people of Faith in the One God, Allah.

Acts 5
The Communal Spirit and its relationship with Charity
1 There was also a man named Ananias who, with his wife, Sapphira, sold some property. 2 He brought part of the money to the apostles, but he claimed it was the full amount. His wife had agreed to this deception. 3 Then Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart? You lied to the Holy Spirit, and you kept some of the money for yourself. 4 The property was yours to sell or not sell, as you wished. And after selling it, the money was yours to give away. How could you do a thing like this? You weren't lying to us but to God." 5 As soon as Ananias heard these words, he fell to the floor and died. Everyone who heard about it was terrified. 6 Then some young men wrapped him in a sheet and took him out and buried him. 7 About three hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 Peter asked her, "Was this the price you and your husband received for your land?""Yes," she replied, "that was the price." 9 And Peter said, "How could the two of you even think of doing a thing like this -- conspiring together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Just outside that door are the young men who buried your husband, and they will carry you out, too." 10 Instantly, she fell to the floor and died. When the young men came in and saw that she was dead, they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11 Great fear gripped the entire church and all others who heard what had happened

At Mark 10
[Here is the formal invitation to the communal life evolved in Acts 5 and what some of the stipulations for that lifestyle consists of.]
17 As he was starting out on a trip, a man came running up to Jesus, knelt down, and asked, "Good Teacher, what should I do to get eternal life?" 18 "Why do you call me good?" Jesus asked. "Only God is truly good. 19 But as for your question, you know the commandments: 'Do not murder. Do not commit adultery. Do not steal. Do not testify falsely. Do not cheat. Honor your father and mother.' " 20 "Teacher," the man replied, "I've obeyed all these commandments since I was a child." 21 Jesus felt genuine love for this man as he looked at him. "You lack only one thing," he told him. "Go and sell all you have and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." 22 At this, the man's face fell, and he went sadly away because he had many possessions. 23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it is for rich people to get into the Kingdom of God!" 24 This amazed them. But Jesus said again, "Dear children, it is very hard to get into the Kingdom of God. 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!" 26 The disciples were astounded. "Then who in the world can be saved?" they asked. 27 Jesus looked at them intently and said, "Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God."

One must seek refuge with Allah from those that sap the strength

And cerrtainly in the remembrance of God do hearts find rest and satisfaction. "Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of God: for without doubt in the remembrance of God do hearts find satisfaction." ~ Surahtul Rad 28. May Eli be refuge from the blood thirsty; the blood suckers; and those that sap the life-force of the people of God. [If thou fearest treachery from any of them throw back their covenant on them so as to be on equal terms for God loveth not the treacherous. HQ 8:58]

Eating Blood Forbidden

"

Levitcus 22
Instructions for the Priests concerning Sacrificial Offerings and Cleanliness

1 The LORD said to Moses, 2 "Tell Aaron and his sons to treat the sacred gifts that the Israelites set apart for me with great care, so they do not profane my holy name. I am the LORD. 3 Remind them that if any of their descendants are ceremonially unclean when they approach the sacred food presented by the Israelites, they must be cut off from my presence. I am the LORD! 4 "If any of the priests have a contagious skin disease or any kind of discharge that makes them ceremonially unclean, they may not eat the sacred offerings until they have been pronounced clean. If any of the priests become unclean by touching a corpse, or are defiled by an emission of semen, 5 or by touching a creeping creature that is unclean, or by touching someone who is ceremonially unclean for any reason, 6 they will remain defiled until evening. They must not eat any of the sacred offerings until they have purified their bodies with water. 7 When the sun goes down, they will be clean again and may eat the sacred offerings. After all, this food has been set aside for them. 8 The priests may never eat an animal that has died a natural death or has been torn apart by wild animals, for this would defile them. I am the LORD. 9 Warn all the priests to follow these instructions carefully; otherwise they will be subject to punishment and die for violating them. I am the LORD who makes them holy. 10 "No one outside a priest's family may ever eat the sacred offerings, even if the person lives in a priest's home or is one of his hired servants. 11 However, if the priest buys slaves with his own money, they may eat of his food. And if his slaves have children, they also may share his food. 12 If a priest's daughter marries someone outside the priestly family, she may no longer eat the sacred offerings. 13 But if she becomes a widow or is divorced and has no children to support her, and she returns to live in her father's home, she may eat her father's food again. But other than these exceptions, only members of the priests' families are allowed to eat the sacred offerings. 14 "Anyone who eats the sacred offerings without realizing it must pay the priest for the amount eaten, plus an added penalty of 20 percent. 15 No one may defile the sacred offerings brought to the LORD by the Israelites 16 by allowing unauthorized people to eat them. The negligent priest would bring guilt upon the people and require them to pay compensation. I am the LORD, who makes them holy." 17 And the LORD said to Moses, 18 "Give Aaron and his sons and all the Israelites these instructions, which apply to those who are Israelites by birth as well as to the foreigners living among you. If you offer a whole burnt offering to the LORD, whether to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering, 19 it will be accepted only if it is a male animal with no physical defects. It may be either a bull, a ram, or a male goat. 20 Do not bring an animal with physical defects, because it won't be accepted on your behalf. 21 "If you bring a peace offering to the LORD from the herd or flock, whether to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering, you must offer an animal that has no physical defects of any kind. 22 An animal that is blind, injured, mutilated, or that has a growth, an open sore, or a scab must never be offered to the LORD by fire on the altar. 23 If the bull or lamb is deformed or stunted, it may still be offered as a freewill offering, but it may not be offered to fulfill a vow. 24 If an animal has damaged testicles or is castrated, it may never be offered to the LORD. 25 You must never accept mutilated or defective animals from foreigners to be offered as a sacrifice to your God. Such animals will not be accepted on your behalf because they are defective." 26 And the LORD said to Moses, 27 "When a bull or a ram or a male goat is born, it must be left with its mother for seven days. From the eighth day on, it will be acceptable as an offering given to the LORD by fire. 28 But you must never slaughter a mother animal and her offspring on the same day, whether from the herd or the flock. 29 When you bring a thanksgiving offering to the LORD, it must be sacrificed properly so it will be accepted on your behalf. 30 Eat the entire sacrificial animal on the day it is presented. Don't leave any of it until the second day. I am the LORD. 31 "You must faithfully keep all my commands by obeying them, for I am the LORD. 32 Do not treat my holy name as common and ordinary. I must be treated as holy by the people of Israel. It is I, the LORD, who makes you holy. 33 It was I who rescued you from Egypt, that I might be your very own God. I am the LORD."
