Passages in the Holy Scriptures (Quran and Bible) about when the Subjects of Allah Hate, Detest, Despise, Reject Elements from/about Allah

ASA WR WB to believing Muslim friends.
May the eternal peace and blessings of Allah (swt) be upon Nabi Muhammad and other Anbiya whose passages I often mention. Allahumma Ameen.

This was a personal reflection to examine and comb the Holy Scriptures for Verses pertaining to, the subjects of Allah, hating, rejecting, despising, or detesting something pertaining to the Goodness, Salvation, and Elements of Allah (swt). A few of these I could not simply leave the verse alone but had to add the entire section to provide context of the Verse.

It was important to my personal journey to understand what hating any of the Goodness coming from Allah (swt) would implicate for me. But this is also important in being a witness to others and their positions on things. Allah (swt) did not only Provide the overall general rulings on hating Goodness from Him (swt) but also rulings on hating very specific elements of Faith and Subservience to Him (swt). He (swt) also in many cases Gives us an idea of what the consequences for taking these sorts of positions with Him (swt) would create in our lives and/or the lives of others.

I was saying in a previous post or tweet that "Love is a Commandment" in the Injeel but also found in the Quran. That a valid Commandment in one Book of Allah is not an enemy to another Book of Allah. Furthermore, a Commandment in one Book of Allah is not going to cover a wrong or sin while opposing another Commandment in another Book of Allah. In terms of the Injeel and Love thy enemy, I was trying to say that this has to have some kind of check with Correction we just can't use Love to cover sin and the sin or wrong continues without end. I gave the Hadith concerning "Not a Muslim at the time of committing adultery, etc." previously (meaning that people are not under the protection of the Covenant at the time of committing the major sins). There was also mentioned that Forgiveness and Repentance are the proper protocols on sins and wrongs. But this is the "Correction" element necessary for Love to have the security it needs to maintain in our lives and civilizations. Love tends to express its value in its absence, as well. While tolerance and moderation are keys, love will depart at some point if major sins or wrongs are not corrected. Please click any of these graphics to enlarge them.

Proverbs 5:12 - Hatred of Discipline

12 You will say, “How I hated discipline! If only I had not ignored all the warnings!

1 My son, pay attention to my wisdom; listen carefully to my wise counsel.

2 Then you will show discernment, and your lips will express what you’ve learned.

3 For the lips of an immoral woman are as sweet as honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil.

4 But in the end she is as bitter as poison, as dangerous as a double-edged sword.

5 Her feet go down to death; her steps lead straight to the grave.

6 For she cares nothing about the path to life. She staggers down a crooked trail and doesn’t realize it.

7 So now, my sons, listen to me. Never stray from what I am about to say:

8 Stay away from her! Don’t go near the door of her house!

9 If you do, you will lose your honor and will lose to merciless people all you have achieved.

10 Strangers will consume your wealth, and someone else will enjoy the fruit of your labor.

11 In the end you will groan in anguish when disease consumes your body.

12 You will say, “How I hated discipline! If only I had not ignored all the warnings!

13 Oh, why didn’t I listen to my teachers? Why didn’t I pay attention to my instructors?

14 I have come to the brink of utter ruin, and now I must face public disgrace.”

15 Drink water from your own well— share your love only with your wife.

16 Why spill the water of your springs in the streets, having sex with just anyone?

17 You should reserve it for yourselves. Never share it with strangers.

18 Let your wife be a fountain of blessing for you. Rejoice in the wife of your youth.

19 She is a loving deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts satisfy you always. May you always be captivated by her love.

20 Why be captivated, my son, by an immoral woman, or fondle the breasts of a promiscuous woman?

21 For the LORD sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes.

22 An evil man is held captive by his own sins; they are ropes that catch and hold him.

23 He will die for lack of self-control; he will be lost because of his great foolishness.

Psalms 68:1 - Hatred of God

1 Rise up, O God, and scatter your enemies. Let those who hate God run for their lives.

Proverbs 1:29 - Hatred of Knowledge

29 For they hated knowledge and chose not to fear the LORD.

1 These are the proverbs of Solomon, David’s son, king of Israel.

2 Their purpose is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise.

3 Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair.

4 These proverbs will give insight to the simple, knowledge and discernment to the young.

5 Let the wise listen to these proverbs and become even wiser. Let those with understanding receive guidance

6 by exploring the meaning in these proverbs and parables, the words of the wise and their riddles.

7 Fear of the LORD is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.

8 My child, listen when your father corrects you. Don’t neglect your mother’s instruction.

9 What you learn from them will crown you with grace and be a chain of honor around your neck.

10 My child, if sinners entice you, turn your back on them!

11 They may say, “Come and join us. Let’s hide and kill someone! Just for fun, let’s ambush the innocent!

12 Let’s swallow them alive, like the grave ; let’s swallow them whole, like those who go down to the pit of death.

13 Think of the great things we’ll get! We’ll fill our houses with all the stuff we take.

14 Come, throw in your lot with us; we’ll all share the loot.”

15 My child, don’t go along with them! Stay far away from their paths.

16 They rush to commit evil deeds. They hurry to commit murder.

17 If a bird sees a trap being set, it knows to stay away.

18 But these people set an ambush for themselves; they are trying to get themselves killed.

19 Such is the fate of all who are greedy for money; it robs them of life.

20 Wisdom shouts in the streets. She cries out in the public square.

21 She calls to the crowds along the main street, to those gathered in front of the city gate:

22 “How long, you simpletons, will you insist on being simpleminded? How long will you mockers relish your mocking? How long will you fools hate knowledge?

23 Come and listen to my counsel. I’ll share my heart with you and make you wise.

24 “I called you so often, but you wouldn’t come. I reached out to you, but you paid no attention.

25 You ignored my advice and rejected the correction I offered.

26 So I will laugh when you are in trouble! I will mock you when disaster overtakes you—

27 when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when disaster engulfs you like a cyclone, and anguish and distress overwhelm you.

28 “When they cry for help, I will not answer. Though they anxiously search for me, they will not find me.

29 For they hated knowledge and chose not to fear the LORD.

30 They rejected my advice and paid no attention when I corrected them.

31 Therefore, they must eat the bitter fruit of living their own way, choking on their own schemes.

32 For simpletons turn away from me—to death. Fools are destroyed by their own complacency.

33 But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm.”

Proverbs 12:1 - Hatred of Correction

1 To learn, you must love discipline; it is stupid to hate correction.

Proverbs 6:23 - Hatred of Life

23 For these Commands and this teaching are a Lamp to light the way ahead of you. The correction of discipline is the way to life.

[My point in including this one here about what hatred of things from Allah (swt) causes as a consequence from Him (swt). At Proverbs 12:1 to despise discipline is to hate correction. Here in Proverb 6:23 Nabi Sulaimon (epbuh) continues that to despise discipline and correction is to hate life.]

Proverbs 8:36 - Hatred of Wisdom

36 But those who miss me injure themselves. All who hate me love death.”

1 Listen as Wisdom calls out! Hear as understanding raises her voice!

2 On the hilltop along the road, she takes her stand at the crossroads.

3 By the gates at the entrance to the town, on the road leading in, she cries aloud,

4 “I call to you, to all of you! I raise my voice to all people.

5 You simple people, use good judgment. You foolish people, show some understanding.

6 Listen to me! For I have important things to tell you. Everything I say is right,

7 for I speak the truth and detest every kind of deception.

8 My advice is wholesome. There is nothing devious or crooked in it.

9 My words are plain to anyone with understanding, clear to those with knowledge.

10 Choose my instruction rather than silver, and knowledge rather than pure gold.

11 For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with it.

12 “I, Wisdom, live together with good judgment. I know where to discover knowledge and discernment.

13 All who fear the LORD will hate evil. Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech.

14 Common sense and success belong to me. Insight and strength are mine.

15 Because of me, kings reign, and rulers make just decrees.

16 Rulers lead with my help, and nobles make righteous judgments.

17 “I love all who love me. Those who search will surely find me.

18 I have riches and honor, as well as enduring wealth and justice.

19 My gifts are better than gold, even the purest gold, my wages better than sterling silver!

20 I walk in righteousness, in paths of justice.

21 Those who love me inherit wealth. I will fill their treasuries.

22 “The LORD formed me from the beginning, before he created anything else.

23 I was appointed in ages past, at the very first, before the earth began.

24 I was born before the oceans were created, before the springs bubbled forth their waters.

25 Before the mountains were formed, before the hills, I was born—

26 before he had made the earth and fields and the first handfuls of soil.

27 I was there when he established the heavens, when he drew the horizon on the oceans.

35 For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the LORD .

36 But those who miss me injure themselves. All who hate me love death.”

Holy Quran Muhammad 28 - Hatred of the Good Pleasure of Allah (swt)

This because they followed that which called forth the Wrath of God, and they hated God’s good pleasure; so He made their deeds of no effect.

Holy Quran Muhammad 9 - Hatred of the Revelation of Allah (swt)

That is because they hate the Revelation of God; so He has made their deeds fruitless.

Holy Quran Zukhruf 78 - Hatred of Truth from Allah (swt)

Verily We have brought the Truth to you: but most of you have a hatred for Truth.

Holy Quran Saff 8 - Detest The Light of Allah (swt)

Their intention is to extinguish God’s Light (by blowing) with their mouths: But God will complete (the revelation of) His Light, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).

Holy Quran Taubah 32 - Detest The Light of Allah (swt)

Fain would they extinguish God’s light with their mouths, but God will not allow but that His light should be perfected, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it).

Holy Quran Saff 9 - Detest the Religion of Truth

It is He Who has sent His Apostle with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).

Holy Quran Taubah 33 - Detest the Religion of Truth

It is He Who hath sent His Apostle with guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).

Holy Quran Araf 45 - Reject The Akhira

"Those who would hinder (men) from the path of God and would seek in it something crooked: they were those who denied the Hereafter."

Holy Quran Hudi 19 - Reject The Akhira 

"Those who would hinder (men) from the path of God and would seek in it something crooked: these were they who denied the Hereafter!"

Holy Quran Araf 146 - Reject the Signs of Allah (swt)

Those who behave arrogantly on the earth in defiance of right - them will I turn away from My signs: Even if they see all the signs, they will not believe in them; and if they see the way of right conduct, they will not adopt it as the way; but if they see the way of error, that is the way they will adopt. For they have rejected our signs, and failed to take warning from them.

A Proverb sheds light on the Ayat about Nabi Sulaimon (epbuh) and the vision of the Jasad.

When I was in Denver it seemed like I was dealing with a force that wanted power (in the seen and unseen). But, it did not like the Laws of Allah. That force was contrary to the Laws (verses) and always trying to flip the Laws (verses) on their Heads.

So you begin to do in your mind a Who, What, When, Where, How, Why.

Why do they want power to the frustration of the Order of God. Of course, laws and things do not have to be extreme or rigid...but that the Law or the Order of God Prevails. Power is for restoring the rights of people, granting them relief from hardships, torment, turmoil, torture, oppression, bloodshed. That Faith, Righteousness and Joy about God may be prevalent.

Nabi Sulaimon (epbuh) gives us a powerful lesson when we connect this Proverb with the verse about the Jasad (dead body) that sat upon his (as) throne in a vision.

Proverbs 19:16 NLT - "Keep the commandments and keep your life; despising them leads to death."

Nabi Sulaimon (epbuh) is saying by this, (when we connect the Jasad Ayah to this Proverb) that the Jasad was a ruler that was going to be Lawless. Because it was a dead body on his throne in the vision. Why would someone want to go to a throne that is based on the Law, but despises or opposes the Law? Power and Control as opposed to Justice, Peace and Order.

Nabi Sulaimon (as) then prayed to Allah grant me a Mulkan that is suitable for no one else after me. 

"He said, "O my Lord! Forgive me, and grant me a kingdom which, (it may be), suits not another after me: for Thou art the Grantor of Bounties (without measure)." ~ Surahtul Sad Ayat 35

Nabi Sulaimon (saws) did not want that lifeless or lawless body to ascend to his throne. The Messiah would reference this later when he asked, "Do you see the lilies in the field? Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as finely as they are." It almost seeming like the Messiah as a successor is noting that Solomon withdrew his Mulkan, but also observing how God can dress those who are left without that structure like the lilies in the fields (more beautifully). But it is my opinion that the Messiah (epbuh) made note of Nabi Sulaimon's (epbuh) dua of withdrawal. But again even though there would always be a descendant of King David upon the throne, Nabi Sulaimon (as) was a "No" to the lifeless or lawless body (Jasad), and it is tough to question his wisdom.

And We did try Solomon: We placed on his throne a body (without life); but he did turn (to Us in true devotion):

He said, "O my Lord! Forgive me, and grant me a kingdom which, (it may be), suits not another after me: for Thou art the Grantor of Bounties (without measure).

The Percentage Spectrum in "takes another person's life" in the Laws

"17 “Anyone who takes another person’s life must be put to death." 
~ Leviticus 24:17

When I look at this one sentence Law in the Torah, it is very interesting and very short. But, it seems very powerful while being so compact. 
The use of the phrase "takes another person's life" is what is very interesting. NLT and NIV use this phrase instead of "kill" or "murder" and I think it is very intelligent in that it creates a spectrum. 
That spectrum could range from 0.1% to 100% of the person's life. This becomes very useful and powerful if, for example, when we look at what took place in India when the man was going around stealing organs from poor Muslims. He wasn't taking 100% of the poor persons lives, but a smaller percentage in taking the kidneys from their bodies, and many times it was without their permission. I will leave the video below. But, that verse is just one example. But, belief in that would merit the invocation to Allah (swt) for that ruling against organ trafficking, and Allah (swt) hears and if He Willeth He Answers. It has recently been identified that organ trafficking is a significant issue in Egypt, as well, for poor immigrants who are even Muslims.
In these types of cases concerning the penalties of death, the person that commits the offense places themselves in that category for penalty from God. Each person has to do their best not to fall into these types of categories for penalties from Him (God). Similar to the Law of Gravity if a person throws something up, it falls back to the Earth, God will inevitably carry out the penalty, it is not a matter of if, but when. Unless the person ceases the activity, and if it is forgivable, offers the necessary repentance, fasting, compensations to the families of the deceased, etc.

The Forbidden Tree of Life, Encore?

If eating of the Forbidden Tree of Life got Adam & Eve (∞ pbut) expelled from Paradise to Earth, then, would repeating that on earth get people expelled from Earth to Hell? & could the Forbidden Tree of Life on earth be considered the "Blood", especially the human circulatory systems? Reference: Leviticus 17.

Leviticus 17 Eating Blood Forbidden 1 The LORD said to Moses (∞ saws), 2 "Speak to Aaron (∞ saws) and his sons and to all the Israelites and say to them: 'This is what the LORD has commanded: 3 Any Israelite who sacrifices an ox, a lamb or a goat in the camp or outside of it 4 instead of bringing it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to present it as an offering to the LORD in front of the tabernacle of the LORD--that man shall be considered guilty of bloodshed; he has shed blood and must be cut off from his people. 5 This is so the Israelites will bring to the LORD the sacrifices they are now making in the open fields. They must bring them to the priest, that is, to the LORD, at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and sacrifice them as fellowship offerings. 6 The priest is to sprinkle the blood against the altar of the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and burn the fat as an aroma pleasing to the LORD. 7 They must no longer offer any of their sacrifices to the goat idols to whom they prostitute themselves. This is to be a lasting ordinance for them and for the generations to come.' 8 "Say to them: 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice 9 and does not bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD--that man must be cut off from his people. 10 " 'Any Israelite or any alien living among them who eats any blood--I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from his people. 11 For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life. 12 Therefore I say to the Israelites, "None of you may eat blood, nor may an alien living among you eat blood." 13 " 'Any Israelite or any alien living among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth, 14 because the life of every creature is its blood. That is why I have said to the Israelites, "You must not eat the blood of any creature, because the life of every creature is its blood; anyone who eats it must be cut off." 15 " 'Anyone, whether native-born or alien, who eats anything found dead or torn by wild animals must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be ceremonially unclean till evening; then he will be clean. 16 But if he does not wash his clothes and bathe himself, he will be held responsible.' " [Here the words foreigners and aliens are interchanged in different translations. Another translation of verses 7 & 8 is, "7 The people must no longer be unfaithful to the LORD by offering sacrifices to evil spirits out in the fields. This is a permanent law for them, to be kept generation after generation. 8 "Give them this command as well, which applies both to Israelites and to the foreigners living among you. If you offer a whole burnt offering or a sacrifice 9 and do not bring it to the entrance of the Tabernacle to offer it to the LORD, you will be cut off from the community."] ~ Kitab/Bible

It's a worthy topic because when you have people worshiping other humans for life; health and the healing from every known illness to man or in the American Medical Association, and for other things like; provisions; to be reborn; to be able to do all things through you [extremely problematic]; etc. then they are sourcing a human life or lives, instead of Sourcing Allah. May Allah be refuge from the evil one that originally tempted to taste the Forbidden Fruit & the 1s that continue to do so today. Ameen. (I like that hadith about how the ArchAngel Gabriel (∞ as) asked Nabi Muhammad (∞ saws) to choose between wine & milk, & the Nabi (saws) chose milk.) Obviously, if this were not a problem, then, Allah would have never mentioned it (blood) as forbidden in both scriptures. "He hath only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that on which any other name hath been invoked besides that of God. But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- then is he guiltless. For God is Oft-forgiving Most Merciful." ~ HQ 2:173

There is just a little more critically important detail in Leviticus 17 on why it is forbidden that allows the reader to surmise why someone would want to drink blood. Aoudhubillahi. But, waking up in India with a kidney stolen is making the concept of organ transplants a Forbidden Tree of Life scenario, instead of a consenting act of charity. #InnaLillahiWaInnaaIlaihiRajeun 

This blog post was originally written in 2011 when the incident took place in India and in 2022 I have appended these events to this same blog post. Initially I was somewhat judgmental as you can see in top 2 paragraphs here but have since then simmered down. I mean I was a moderate in those days but very much against being sourced in the Spirit and the Flesh in these types of ways. I do believe that moderation, patience, prayer is key to getting through fitnah in the ghaib (Turmoil and torment in the unseen).

1st video is of a bad doctor that was stealing organs from India Muslims.

2nd video is Afghan desperate conditions causing people to sell kidneys. Year 2022

3rd video is when 50 Nigerian Women were trafficked in Lebanon. Year 2020

4th video is of immigrants to Egypt having to sell kidneys in Egypt to get money. Year 2020

5th video was a modern-day slavery in Libya. Year 2020

Not a lot of news agencies in the US reported this information. This information is very concerning for African American Muslims because we tend to be more susceptible to having low wealth and this makes the risks to making Hijrah to these places when these activities are happening a recipe for problems. Al Jazeera, France 24, DW News and South China Morning Post reported these stories.

This was not composed to make a mockery or insult of these countries nor of the economic conditions of these countries nor of the people who were the victims of these misfortunes. It is important to know this information if you are considering making hijrah (migrating) travelling etc. African American Muslims tend to be susceptible to poverty or low wealth count and so this information is valuable.

A Question about the "Half your Deen." Concept

I know that I look at my muslim sisters and my heart is filled with a wholesome fondness for them. Many of them are as precious as gems. But, I am wondering about the concept of she being "half our deen".
The concept does seem to take on a kind of nebulous persona. I mean it starts off: (1.) Marriage is half of your deen; then, it goes to (2.) Marriage is half your religion; then, (3.) Marriage is half of your faith; then, it's (4.) Your wife is half your deen. And men and women often refer to their spouses as their better half. (But, I have always perceived this statement to be within the context of "relationships"); then, as it so turns out on Muslima.com, Singlemuslim.com and other sites it just so happens that some of the sisters are looking for "Soul Mates". At this point I am thinking who is the brother doing the negotiating on behalf of the men of the Ummahtul Nabi Muhammad (infinite saws) because he seems to be losing or selling us short...and who the heck is he negotiating with? [Just a reminder to the leader brothers, only negotiate with muslim women of faith in Al-Islam for muslim men of faith in Al-Islam.] Thus, if the sisters are looking for "Soul Mates", has marriage become (5.) "Half our Souls"? Well, as it turns out if you have the instant feature on the Google search engine and you type in "Marriage is half" it will come up with the options of either faith, deen, or religion. But, I know that the inference is still a possibility for those females who mean mischief...and not all women mean mischief, but, there are some females that do.
The quote goes, "The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"When a man marries, he has fulfilled half of his religion, so let him fear Allah regarding the remaining half.""
(Marriage quotation from Bayhqi)
I seem to recall the Quranul Kareem saying something to the effect of "Libas" or covering for each other. It reads, "Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and ye are their garments. God knoweth what ye used to do secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what God Hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread; then complete your fast Till the night appears; but do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat in the mosques. That certainly is a lot different than "Half your deen". When a man of Islam marries a woman of Islam they become one unit, and when children arrive they are more, evidently, defined as one family unit. Though, I comprehend the meaning of both statements (the one coming from the hadith and the one coming from the Quran), but, the hadith statement can be distorted to construe something other than what was intended on a spiritual level. For example, what if the muslim brother is very astute about his faith practice, but, the wife is not? Or, likewise, what if the sister is very meticulous about her faith, but, the husband is extremely negligent? Don't you think that it should be that each person is responsible for his or her striving towards Allah and with respect to deeds, each of them have personal accounts with Allah? Allah is the Source of the Ruhhul Amin; Ruhhul Quddus; Ruhhul Ghulab; and all of the other Ruhhs that fill our spirits, lives, bodies, homes and paths. If sourcing for Ruhh (Spirit) or Nafs (Soul) is taking place to other than Allah (swt), the ones doing this in religion expose themselves to being categorized as mushrikun, and, in addition, this raises the question of the "Forbidden Fruit" on earth in a spiritual exchange (of this type between people) without Allah (swt) being the Source; or going to the wrong Tree for life. We are seeing a lot of programs on the concepts of vampires, like Vampire Diaries and Twilight (series), etc. (may Allah be refuge from Shaitan), but, sourcing another human for spirit, whether going through the blood or whatnot, perhaps is a similitude of the Tree of Forbidden Fruit in the Garden of Eden of days of old Tree of Forbidden Life, Again?. If beings that drank blood were not a problem, then, Allah (swt) would not have revealed Leviticus 17 to Nabi Musa (infinite saws); or Surahtul Baqarah Ayat 173 to Nabi Muhammad (infinite saws). Because perhaps it is not the blood itself that is sought, but, the life that flows through the blood. Leviticus 14 reads, "The life of every creature is in the blood. That is why I have told the people of Israel never to eat or drink it, for the life of any bird or animal is in the blood. So whoever eats or drinks blood must be cut off." From this it is obvious why when Nabi Muhammad (infinite saws) was offered a choice between wine and milk, from the ArchAngel Gabriel Jibril (infinite as), Nabi Muhammad (infinite saws) chose milk. Below I recount the hadith. Thus, I am not saying that all women (in Islam, etc.) are blood-suckers (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon the the women of Islam) but, I am saying that some females of the earth are and have been in the past (may Allah be refuge), "O ye who believe! Truly, among your wives and your children are (some that are) enemies to yourselves: so beware of them! But if ye forgive and overlook, and cover up (their faults), verily God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. ~ Surahtul Taghabuni 14" May Allah guide the earnest seekers of true, wholesome, lawful, just, right and healthy marriage.

No. 3626 - Narrated Abbas bin Malik:
Malik bin Sasaa said that Allah's Apostle described to them his Night Journey saying, "While I was lying in Al-Hatim or Al-Hijr, suddenly someone came to me and cut my body open from here to here." I asked Al-Jarud who was by my side, "What does he mean?" He said, "It means from his throat to his pubic area," or said, "From the top of the chest." The Prophet further said, "He then took out my heart. Then a gold tray of Belief was brought to me and my heart was washed and was filled (with Belief) and then returned to its original place. Then a white animal which was smaller than a mule and bigger than a donkey was brought to me." (On this Al-Jarud asked, "Was it the Buraq, O Abu Hamza?" I (i.e. Anas) replied in the affirmative). The Prophet said, "The animal's step (was so wide that it) reached the farthest point within the reach of the animal's sight. I was carried on it, and Gabriel set out with me till we reached the nearest heaven.
When he asked for the gate to be opened, it was asked, 'Who is it?' Gabriel answered, 'Gabriel.' It was asked, 'Who is accompanying you?' Gabriel replied, 'Muhammad.' It was asked, 'Has Muhammad been called?' Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said, 'He is welcomed. What an excellent visit his is!' The gate was opened, and when I went over the first heaven, I saw Adam there. Gabriel said (to me). 'This is your father, Adam; pay him your greetings.' So I greeted him and he returned the greeting to me and said, 'You are welcomed, O pious son and pious Prophet.' Then Gabriel ascended with me till we reached the second heaven. Gabriel asked for the gate to be opened. It was asked, 'Who is it?' Gabriel answered, 'Gabriel.' It was asked, 'Who is accompanying you?' Gabriel replied, 'Muhammad.' It was asked, 'Has he been called?' Gabriel answered in the affirmative. Then it was said, 'He is welcomed. What an excellent visit his is!' The gate was opened.

When I went over the second heaven, there I saw Yahya (i.e. John) and 'Isa (i.e. Jesus) who were cousins of each other. Gabriel said (to me), 'These are John and Jesus; pay them your greetings.' So I greeted them and both of them returned my greetings to me and said, 'You are welcomed, O pious brother and pious Prophet.' Then Gabriel ascended with me to the third heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked, 'Who is it?' Gabriel replied, 'Gabriel.' It was asked, 'Who is accompanying you?' Gabriel replied, 'Muhammad.' It was asked, 'Has he been called?' Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said, 'He is welcomed, what an excellent visit his is!' The gate was opened, and when I went over the third heaven there I saw Joseph. Gabriel said (to me), 'This is Joseph; pay him your greetings.' So I greeted him and he returned the greeting to me and said, 'You are welcomed, O pious brother and pious Prophet.' Then Gabriel ascended with me to the fourth heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked, 'Who is it?' Gabriel replied, 'Gabriel' It was asked, 'Who is accompanying you?' Gabriel replied, 'Muhammad.' It was asked, 'Has he been called?' Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said, 'He is welcomed, what an excel lent visit his is!'

The gate was opened, and when I went over the fourth heaven, there I saw Idris. Gabriel said (to me), 'This is Idris (i.e. Prophet Enoch); pay him your greetings.' So I greeted him and he returned the greeting to me and said, 'You are welcomed, O pious brother and pious Prophet.' Then Gabriel ascended with me to the fifth heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked, 'Who is it?' Gabriel replied, 'Gabriel.' It was asked. 'Who is accompanying you?' Gabriel replied, 'Muhammad.' It was asked, 'Has he been called?' Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said He is welcomed, what an excellent visit his is! So when I went over the fifth heaven, there I saw Harun (i.e. Aaron), Gabriel said, (to me). This is Aaron; pay him your greetings.' I greeted him and he returned the greeting to me and said, 'You are welcomed, O pious brother and pious Prophet.' Then Gabriel ascended with me to the sixth heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked. 'Who is it?' Gabriel replied, 'Gabriel.' It was asked, 'Who is accompanying you?' Gabriel replied, 'Muhammad.' It was asked, 'Has he been called?' Gabriel replied in the affirmative. It was said, 'He is welcomed. What an excellent visit his is!'

Moses said, 'I weep because after me there has been sent (as Prophet) a young man whose followers will enter Paradise in greater numbers than my followers.' Then Gabriel ascended with me to the seventh heaven and asked for its gate to be opened. It was asked, 'Who is it?' Gabriel replied, 'Gabriel.' It was asked,' Who is accompanying you?' Gabriel replied, 'Muhammad.' It was asked, 'Has he been called?' Gabriel replied in the affirmative. Then it was said, 'He is welcomed. What an excellent visit his is!'

So when I went (over the seventh heaven), there I saw Abraham. Gabriel said (to me), 'This is your father; pay your greetings to him.' So I greeted him and he returned the greetings to me and said, 'You are welcomed, O pious son and pious Prophet.' Then I was made to ascend to Sidrat-ul-Muntaha (i.e. the Lote Tree of the utmost boundary) Behold! Its fruits were like the jars of Hajr (i.e. a place near Medina) and its leaves were as big as the ears of elephants. Gabriel said, 'This is the Lote Tree of the utmost boundary) . Behold ! There ran four rivers, two were hidden and two were visible, I asked, 'What are these two kinds of rivers, O Gabriel?' He replied,' As for the hidden rivers, they are two rivers in Paradise and the visible rivers are the Nile and the Euphrates.'

Then Al-Bait-ul-Ma'mur (i.e. the Sacred House) was shown to me and a container full of wine and another full of milk and a third full of honey were brought to me. I took the milk. Gabriel remarked, 'This is the Islamic religion which you and your followers are following.' Then the prayers were enjoined on me: They were fifty prayers a day. When I returned, I passed by Moses who asked (me), 'What have you been ordered to do?' I replied, 'I have been ordered to offer fifty prayers a day.' Moses said, 'Your followers cannot bear fifty prayers a day, and by Allah, I have tested people before you, and I have tried my level best with Bani Israel (in vain). Go back to your Lord and ask for reduction to lessen your followers' burden.' So I went back, and Allah reduced ten prayers for me. Then again I came to Moses, but he repeated the same as he had said before. Then again I went back to Allah and He reduced ten more prayers. When I came back to Moses he said the same, I went back to Allah and He ordered me to observe ten prayers a day. When I came back to Moses, he repeated the same advice, so I went back to Allah and was ordered to observe five prayers a day.

When I came back to Moses, he said, 'What have you been ordered?' I replied, 'I have been ordered to observe five prayers a day.' He said, 'Your followers cannot bear five prayers a day, and no doubt, I have got an experience of the people before you, and I have tried my level best with Bani Israel, so go back to your Lord and ask for reduction to lessen your follower's burden.' I said, 'I have requested so much of my Lord that I feel ashamed, but I am satisfied now and surrender to Allah's Order.' When I left, I heard a voice saying, 'I have passed My Order and have lessened the burden of My Worshipers." ~ Sahih Al Bukhari Book of the Merits of the Ansar

No. 3165 - Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "On the night of my Ascension to Heaven, I saw (the prophet) Moses who was a thin person with lank hair, looking like one of the men of the tribe of Shanua; and I saw Jesus who was of average height with red face as if he had just come out of a bathroom. And I resemble prophet Abraham more than any of his offspring does. Then I was given two cups, one containing milk and the other wine. Gabriel said, 'Drink whichever you like.' I took the milk and drank it. Gabriel said, 'You have accepted what is natural (or wholesome), (True Religion i.e. Islam) and if you had taken the wine, your followers would have gone astray.'" ~ Sahih Al Bukhari Book of the Prophets

My hesitation or reservation about the last hadith must be expressed through Surahtul Baqarah Ayat 285, "The Apostle believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in God, His angels, His books, and His apostles. "We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His apostles." And they say: "We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys."" Thus, infinite (saws) upon Nabi Musa and Al Masihu Isa Ibn Maryam and upon Maryam.

One must seek refuge with Allah from those that sap the strength

And cerrtainly in the remembrance of God do hearts find rest and satisfaction. "Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of God: for without doubt in the remembrance of God do hearts find satisfaction." ~ Surahtul Rad 28.
